31/05/2018 - P&L Seminar: Manufacturing 4.0

Production & Logistics Seminar: 'Manufacturing 4.0'
- Thursday, May 31 -
Dear alumnus,

The Production & Logistics (P&L) chapter of Ekonomika Alumni invites you to their new seminar discussing 'Manufacturing 4.0', on May 31st in Leuven.

Digital manufacturing, big data manufacturing, industry 4.0, manufacturing 4.0 … It almost seems like the battle of the buzz words. But how concrete are organizations embracing these techniques within their manufacturing processes? Our manufacturing industry is known for generating data to control the processes or quality of the output, identify root causes or continuous improvement. Today, we see a trend to use data in a pro-active and predictive way.

The objective of this seminar is to provide you with a strategic insight into the applications within the industry. 3 speakers from leading manufacturing organizations on the digital path - McKinsey, Shire and Solvay - will therefore share their unique experience & views on the topic.

We hope to see you there!
