Consultant CFO - Advisory - Senior Advisor

Roles & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a (Senior) Advisor in the public sector/ corporate environments to strengthen our enthusiastic CFO Advisory Services team within KPMG Belgium. You will help CFOs & CEOs to become business partners and to engage in strategic development to support their operational business by improving the business value and operations of their Finance functions.Your key activities will include:

  • Assisting in the development of a management strategy in, among others, public sector or corporates

  • Defining and improving operational processes and procedures

  • Analyzing organizations and writing reports

  • Doing market research (quantitative/qualitative)

  • Involvement in transformation projects

  • Support the further growth and development of the public sector practice. This includes the design of new service offerings, follow-up on trends and sector evolution, and engage in networking activities

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or another quantitative field; or a bachelor’s degree with significant experience

  • Experience in consulting or advisory services within the Public Sector, Finance, Corporate, Transformation, Costing & Profitability Management, Financial Reporting

  • Significant affinity with public accounting, financial services, financial process analysis, and process improvement

  • Very strong numerical and analytical skillset with excellent communication skills in written and verbal form

  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French (or both), and English

  • Enthusiastic about working in a project-based environment

  • Strong client orientation & a real team player
