To support our customers with our agentic data engineering platform, VaultSpeed is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to join our professional services team: data engineers who deliver real outcomes for customers and make the product better while doing it. This role is for someone early in their career who wants to build the playbook rather than inherit one.

What you'll do

• Deliver outcomes, not tickets. Embed with a customer team, in their environment, on their actual problem — and define in one sentence what success looks like.

• Design and build Warehouses on Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and other cloud platforms, using VaultSpeed automation.

• Curate the agent. Our platform grows at vast speed; you validate it, correct it, and teach it. Knowing when an AI is confidently wrong is the new craft — we’re all learning it together.

• Carry the product. You see where VaultSpeed can improve and route it into product signals.

• Leave the baseline higher than you found it: playbooks, reference models, prompt patterns, all hardened for the next assignment.

• Travel to customer sites as needed.

What we're looking for

• 1–2 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI, or a comparable

  
  

  technical role.

• Strong analytical thinking. You take a messy source system and a vague business question

  
  

  and turn them into a defensible model.

• Solid SQL and comfort with Python or other development languages.

• Independence. Dropped into a customer environment, you make progress without being

  
  

  told what to do next, while knowing exactly when to ask for help.

• Clear communication in English, written and spoken, with customers.

• Genuine eagerness to learn and contribute.

• AI-minded. You reach for agents and AI tooling by default, and you’re curious about where

  
  

  they help and where they don’t.

• Experience with Data Vault 2.0, cloud data platforms, or AI/agentic tooling is a strong plus, not a requirement. We can teach the stack.
